Jen's Birthday
17th June, 2000. Jen's birthday.
After many little secret discussions amongst the group, it was decided that
we would go to a restaurant for dinner to celebrate Jen's birthday. It was
a quiet little one - except for a couple of other people at one table, we
were the only ones there. After we'd eaten our fill, the waiters suddenly
switched off the lights.. then to our surprise, and especially Jen's, a
crazy Egyptian band came into the room singing and playing their loud drums
and a waiter brought in a wonderful birthday cake! The band grabbed members
of our group and we all got up and danced around the table. It was pretty
great and really funny. Probably the wierdest birthday Jen's ever had, that's
for sure!
