Alexandria
On Wednesday 7th June we decided to go to Alexandria. It took us half an hour
of wandering around to find the bus station (a small window in a wall with
signs only in Arabic - luckily we happened to glimpse the words "SuperJet"
on a picture of a bus and realised that this was the company to use, thanks
to our trusty guidebook). 20LE (Egyptian pounds) and three hours later we
were on the Mediterranean coast!
We saw a number of sights while we were there, before heading back to Cairo
the following afternoon.
