Flight to Cairo

We flew from Sydney to Cairo on Sunday 4th June 2000 via Singapore and Dubai. In Singapore we had to run halfway across the airport terminal (and it is big!) to get to our adjoining flight. This flight had an half an hour stopover in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, a very rich country with an impressively new airport.

We saw the sun rise on the morning of Monday 5th June over Saudi Arabia, the Red Sea and Sinai. The landscape below was spectacular.
